Junior & Senior School

Junior School Curriculum

Nobel International Junior School’s curriculum and teaching and learning processes are centered around a holistic and well-rounded experience for every child. Two very well established curricula have been integrated to provide a broad and balanced education for our learners; Cambridge Assessment International Education and International Middle Years Curriculum also referred to as IMYC.

As a Cambridge School, we offer the Cambridge Lower Secondary syllabus for Years 7 to 9. It provides a seamless progression from Cambridge Primary by offering a curriculum framework for educational success. The programme is used to develop learners’ skills and understanding in a various subjects including English, Mathematics and Science. Cambridge Lower Secondary provides excellent preparation for Cambridge Upper Secondary and other educational systems.

IMYC is a broad curriculum built on a sound research-based philosophy that makes meaning, connects learning and develops minds. The IMYC helps students to make meaning of their learning by giving students opportunities to develop ideas through the IMYC

process to learning. The IMYC learning process is incorporated for subjects such as History and Geography.
